Students Celebrate Earth Day

On June 17, BCLC students celebrated Earth Day by cleaning up their school and learning how to take care of the planet. Each student planted a flower in the school’s garden with the help of their teachers. They also picked up trash on the playground and sorted giant bins of bottles and cans to be recycled. Later, teachers read stories about mother earth and the importance of caring for our home. The students learned good habits for keeping a clean environment and had fun getting their hands dirty!
