Friends of Blind Children's Learning Center Host Party

A special thanks to John Cummings and Ray Acosta for all their work in organizing the second annual Friends of Blind Children's Learning Center's fundraising party at the Balboa Yacht Club. This great group of men and their guests came out in support of our children. They heard the story's of some of our children and youth. Carol Courtois spoke about how the Center has made a difference in her daughter Lucie's life. Kendall Bradley, 12, and Alex Fletcher, 21, gave their testimonials to how BCLC helped them become independent.

The evening raised over $12,000 and is expected to raise more through pledges. We appreciate all the support we receive and look forward to working with Friends of Blind Children's Learning Center to make this a better place for blind children.
