Dear Parents,
Have you felt that some of your dreams were shattered by the birth of a child with special needs? Do you feel your relationships have been affected since the birth of your child? You are not alone!
Come share with others as we join together for a special day of healing and growth. We have invited Dr. Ken Moses, Psychologist, who is himself a parent of a child with special needs, to lead an all day workshop for parents. His approach to understanding the grieving process can encourage the kinds of changes that generate new and attainable dreams for parents and their child. On this day, families will have the opportunity to share personal experiences if they choose.
This workshop is being offered for parents free of charge, however, to register, we are requiring a $10.00 per person or $15.00 per couple deposit that will be refunded the day of the workshop. Registration is limited and on a first reserved basis until February 20, 2001. Parents lunches are provided, however, parents need to bring a lunch for their child.
Registration begins at 8:45 a.m. Please allow enough time to check in your children, get them settled, and relax before the 9:30 workshop begins.
Further information and questions call Karin Crilly (714) 573-8888 ext. 109 or Teri Powers (714) 573-8888 ext. 108. Please join us to learn to recreate your dreams.
