Support Group

The Blind Children's Learning Center is always seeking volunteer assistance. Classroom volunteers are needed once a week between 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Classroom volunteers assist with playground supervision, snack and lunch times, circle-time, arts and craft projects and field trips. Additionally volunteers are needed for the mentoring program, evening childcare, clerical assistance, special events, general maintenance and gardening. Group projects can be arranged as well.

Although volunteers do not receive monetary payment you will receive many thank you's from the staff and a lot of hugs from the children.
