Mindy has been with Blind Children's Learning Center since 1996. She holds a degree in Business Management with emphasis in Human Resources from University of Phoenix. Drawn to the Center due to several family members having visual impairments, she knew she had a home here after participating in a Blindfold Luncheon early in her tenure. She has notably been awarded the CFO Community Service Award through Orange County Business Journal.
Kathleen has worked with Blind Children's Learning Center since 2010 and in 2012 accepted the position of executive director. For more than 20 years, Kathleen served as a fund development director at various Orange County nonprofits and more recently worked as a fund raising consultant with Third Sector Learning, She is a graduate of the University of Southern California and is an active member with OC Delta Gamma Alumnae groups.
Junior League of Orange County
Carolyn has more than 20 years of professional community relations experience. She received her Bachelor's degree in Communications/Public Relations from Chapman University and Certificate in Corporate Community Relations from Boston College Carroll School of Management. Prior to her work with Blind Children's Learning Center, Carolyn was Director of Community Relations/Public Affairs for HomeAid Orange County.
Mrs. Jeri Konopisos was previously Vice President of the Workplace Campaign for Orange County's United Way. She has been a community volunteer and board member for several organizations and schools in Southern California including St. Joseph’s Hospital and the Santa Ana Assistance League. Jeri has been a board member at Blind Children’s Learning Center since November 2007.
Irene has worked in the field of early intervention for over 25 years, starting at Blind Children’s Learning Center in 1990 as an intern. Upon earning her Bachelor’s degree at the University of California, Irvine, Irene joined the center as Lead Infant Teacher while obtaining her Child Care Permit. She then moved to the Infant Family Focus Program as an Infant Development Specialist before eventually directing the Infant Family Focus Program. Six years later, Irene was named Director at Bright Visions.
Amiee Goulding has devoted over 20 years of her professional career to Blind Children's Learning Center. She has worked her way up from Intern to Lead Teacher to her current position of Director of Bright Visions Early Childhood Center. She holds a bachelor's degree from National University, as well as earning a Director Permit from Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
